SUMMARY:Alan Cumming: UNCUT
DESCRIPTION:Alan Cumming: UNCUT at State Theatre New Jersey\nMulti-hyphenate\, multi-award winning\, multimedia mogul Alan Cumming returns with a new cabaret show\, this time even more revealing\, hilarious and authentic than ever before. It is\, in fact\, Alan Cumming Uncut. With musical direction by Henry Koperski. \n“The androgynous imp is both quiet and uproarious\, adorable and sensual\, flippant and emotional\, otherworldly and inviting…this is precisely why he’s an icon to behold—he is unapologetically himself\, and with a talent like that\, he has no need to apologize\,” says Billboard. \n“I have admired Alan Cumming since first seeing him in the 1998 Broadway revival of Cabaret. Who was this exotic\, androgynous provocateur and pansexual pied piper\, brazenly flirting with audience members without losing his composure? He was scary and irresistible…nothing\, however\, prepared me for the emotional firestorm that Mr. Cumming detonated at Tuesday’s opening-night performance of his nightclub show at Cafe Carlyle. In the underpopulated arena of male cabaret singers\, Mr. Cumming may be the only one with the talent and drive to change its direction\,” says The New York Times. \n“So hilarious\, flirty\, and gorgeously filthy that it’s hard to decide if you want him as a new best friend or a lover\,” says Sydney Morning Herald.

SUMMARY:Heddwch Nain/Mam-gu: The Welsh Women’s Peace Petition to the Women of the United States\, 1924
DESCRIPTION:Heddwch Nain/Mam-gu: The Welsh Women’s Peace Petition to the Women of the United States\, 1924\nThe women of Wales\, aiming to promote peace in the aftermath of World War I\, organized in 1923 an appeal to the women of the United States\, urging them to bring their country into the new League of Nations. \nA delegation of Welsh women brought this appeal to the United States in 1924 on a remarkable journey made possible by the support of American women including women from New Jersey. \nTheir effort followed the 1921 Knox-Porter Resolution\, ending U.S. involvement in World War I without entering the League of Nations. U.S. President Warren G. Harding signed the Knox-Porter Resolution in New Jersey at the Raritan home of U.S. Sen. Joseph S. Frelinghuysen\, Sr.\, a descendant of the Frelinghuysen family of Old Dutch Parsonage and leader of Old Dutch Parsonage’s preservation in 1913. \n100 years later\, American and Welsh women have joined again in Heddwch Nain/Mam-gu\, a transatlantic effort uncovering and sharing the artifacts and history of the Welsh Women’s Peace Petition in support of peacemaking today. \nEirlys Mair Barker\, retired professor of American history and member of Heddwch Nain/Mam-gu USA\, shares the history of the Welsh Women’s Peace Petition for the 100th anniversary of the tour of the United States in this virtual presentation. \nThis program is part of a series made possible the Wallace House and Old Dutch Parsonage Association with the sponsorship of New Jersey Council for the Humanities\, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities. \nAny views\, findings\, conclusions\, or recommendations expressed in this series do not necessarily represent those of the National Endowment for the Humanities or the New Jersey Council for the Humanities.

SUMMARY:Tantra Tom - Kundalini Activation & Breathwork
DESCRIPTION:Tantra Tom – Kundalini Activation & Breathwork\n\n\nExperience this powerful healing modality by harnessing your own innate life force energy at the hands of a master practitioner. \nBring a friend (or go solo!) and experience this powerful healing energy that harnesses our life force energy for our own healing and connection with each other. \nEngaging in Kundalini activation can offer a profound and enriching experience that extends beyond the physical realm. This ancient practice\, rooted in spiritual traditions\, involves the awakening of the dormant energy at the base of the spine\, known as Kundalini\, and allowing it to rise through the chakras. When done together with like minded individuals\, this shared journey can deepen the emotional and energetic connection between you and those around you. The synchronized breathwork\, intentional movements\, and focused attention create a harmonious atmosphere\, fostering a sense of unity and oneness. This shared spiritual exploration can enhance communication\, trust\, and intimacy\, as participants support each other through the highs and lows of the practice. Additionally\, the heightened awareness and increased energy flow may contribute to more vibrant and passionate relationships\, promoting overall well-being and a deeper connection on both physical and spiritual levels.
