This July 4th weekend, while everyone is busy remembering America’s past, we hope you’ll also remember the people working to preserve Somerset County’s history every day. On Sunday, July 5, 2026 at 1:05 pm, the Somerset Patriots will take the field as the Somerset Semiquincentennials in special commemorative uniforms celebrating America’s 250th anniversary — and the Somerset County Historical Society has been selected as the featured non-profit for the game. A portion of every ticket sold through our fundraiser benefits the Somerset County Historical Society, an all-volunteer organization dedicated to preserving local history, maintaining a historic home, and sharing Somerset County’s stories with the community. This is one of only four special Semiquincentennials games this season, making it a unique chance to enjoy baseball, celebrate history, and support local preservation efforts all at once. We know there are plenty of ways to spend a holiday weekend, but we hope you’ll consider spending part of yours with us at the ballpark. History has always mattered to us — and we’re grateful to everyone who helps keep it alive.
