Saturday, January 31, 2026, 2 p.m. Wallace House & Old Dutch Parsonage State Historic Sites 71 Somerset Street, Somerville, NJ 08876 Hike the historic bounds of "Hope Farm" for Hogmanay, the Scots celebration of the New Year, and the Wallace House's 250th Birthday. The walk covers about 3.1 miles on flat surfaces on sidewalk and pavement. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy footgear and bring water and snacks. The walk takes about 1 ½ hours and begins and ends at Wallace House & Old Dutch Parsonage State Historic Sites. This yoga class flows at a slowed-down pace so there's time to explore individual postures and transitions in a warm practice room. Newer students find this class builds confidence and familiarity, while more experienced students refine the fundamentals of alignment and dive into a deeper practice. You will gently engage, open, and strengthen the body by tapping into accessible yoga poses, fluid movement and breath.

Attention young birders! Join us at Scherman Hoffman for a winter birding experience. Led by Angus Macaulay, Teacher Naturalist Attention young birders! The year-round resident birds are here for the winter months. Join the group to get started birding or add new species to your life list. All birding experience levels are welcome. Loaner binoculars and all instructions are included. Registration is limited to ten participants per date, so don’t miss out! This is an outdoor program, please dress for the weather. February 1, 2026 4pm Branchburg NJ ANYONE CAN DO IT...really! No artistic skills necessary. Hand-build using slabs of clay and sculpture techniques under the watchful guidance of experienced clay artists. Many design ideas are available or bring your own creativity! You will also utilize various decorative techniques, such as underglaze painting, carving and attaching 3D elements. Finished glazed pieces will be available for pick up about 4 weeks later.
