Fall Harvest Days
NJ, United StatesNorz Hill Farm has been in our family since 1922 when Hillsborough was very rural and all of our neighbors were farmers. Today most all of you, our neighbors from near and far, are generations removed from farm families so it is very important to us to be able to provide an educational, breathtaking and fun experience while visiting our Farm. Farm Tours The tour takes you on a hay wagon ride from our farm stand area to the farm, then you can get off and see all the animals. Some of the animals you will find are cows, miniature donkeys (yep, we have a Dominick the donkey!), horses, alpaca, sheep, chickens, goats, pigs, bunnies, emu's and even a zonkey. Then when you have had a chance to see all the animals, you can catch the next hayride right to our pumpkin patch. The Corn Maze Each and every year we dedicate our corn maze to either events that happen on our farm or a great local cause. SO while you are here you can be challenged to find your way through our 5 acres of farm fun! Kids' Corner & Fun Things Our Kids Croner is a fun area

Reading in advance is NOT required. Although offered as a series, each lecture stands on its own and assumes no prior knowledge. New participants are always welcome. Wednesday, September 14, 2022 online at 7pm: Cincinnatus in Caesarea George Washington weathers the worst winter of the Revolutionary War from headquarters in Morristown in 1779-80 and then travels a revolutionary route through New Jersey with Gen. Rochambeau in the summer of 1781 that will culminate in victory at Yorktown. Rockingham, near Princeton, serves as George Washington’s final wartime headquarters in 1783 as the Treaty of Paris is signed and the Commander-in-Chief issues his Farewell Orders to the Armies of the United States. “Off the Wall” – a party & art auction fundraiser for The Center for Contemporary Art
NJ, United StatesThe Center for Contemporary Art in Bedminster is holding its largest fundraiser of the year on Friday, September 16 from 7-10 pm. Purchase tickets and enjoy an evening of avant-garde appetizers, chic cocktails, live music, 50/50 raffle, and a chance to go home with an original work of art created by The Center’s talented community of exhibiting and visiting artists, faculty, members, and students from the well-established to the up-and-coming! 2D and 3D works of art will be available in the silent auction, and 8?x8? works will be available for $100 each. Enjoy delicious bites from Continental Cookery in Bernardsville, a signature cocktail from Claremont Distillery in Fairfield, as well as a variety of other refreshments and beverages. Tickets $50 per person in advance or $60 at the door (must be 21 or over to attend) Can’t make the event? The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
NJ, United StatesFriday & Saturday - 8PM Sunday - 2PM Adults $22 - Seniors/Students $20 An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box.
