Discover the ancient Turkish art of Ebru in this Water Marbling Workshop in Somerset, NJ Immerse yourself in a hands-on creative journey at Mosaic Art Studio, where you’ll explore the mesmerizing art of water marbling—Ebru—that has captivated hearts for centuries.   In this workshop, you’ll learn how to float paints on water, swirl them into beautiful, fluid patterns, and transfer your designs onto paper. No prior art experience is needed—this class is designed to be beginner-friendly and offers a relaxed, fun environment perfect for families, friends, team-building events, or creative solo outings. Children ages 5 and up are welcome with parental supervision.   You’ll begin with an introduction to the history and cultural importance of Ebru, watch an instructor demonstration, and then spend 30–45 minutes creating your own design on paper. If you wish to elevate your artwork, you can upgrade to print it on silk—choose from a handkerchief, twilly, or scarf for an additional fee.

Meditation is a powerful tool for maintaining psychological health and resilience. Since the planetarium offers a dark and quiet space for relaxation, it is the perfect place for meditation. Enjoy a guided meditation experience in the comfortable, reclined seats in the RVCC Planetarium. Relax under a night sky filled with stars, then travel from Earth to beyond our galaxy.
