Residents and visitors are invited to participate in the annual Canal Walk & Roll events. These events provide an opportunity for the community to stroll or roll along the scenic canal roadways in a traffic-free environment. The Canal Walk & Roll North will take place on Sunday, July 27, from 10 am to 4 pm, and the Canal Walk & Roll South will follow on Sunday, August 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On July 27th, Canal Road will be closed to motor vehicles from East Millstone to Butler Road during this time. On August 24th, Canal Road will be closed to motor vehicles from Griggstown Causeway to Route 518 during this time. Residents within this area will have vehicle access, so please proceed with caution!

Big Hix Summer Concert Series

The Big Hix Summer Concert Series show has been rescheduled to Sunday, August 24 at 5:30 p.m. Join us for the 2025 Summer Concert Series at Duke Island Park, where music lovers of all ages come together to celebrate a variety of genres and eras. From classic rock to jazz, country to salsa, each concert promises a memorable summer experience. Admission and parking are free. Park Rangers will help guide parking, offering closer spots to those with handicapped status. A selection of food trucks will be on site and may vary from week to week. Visitors are welcome to bring their own cooler with snacks and drinks.  Alcohol and smoking are not permitted in the park. Don't forget to bring your own lawn chair or blanket to relax and immerse yourself in the music-filled atmosphere. Whether you're a longtime fan or discovering new favorites, the Summer Concert Series at Duke Island Park promises evenings of rhythm, melody, and community spirit.
