DESCRIPTION:Led by Dave Oster\, Associate Naturalist \nThe Lord Stirling Park bird walks have had up to 70 species and 13 warbler species in one day. This is a great spot for flycatchers\, vireos\, warblers\, and goodies like Great-horned Owl\, Red-headed Woodpecker\, Alder Flycatcher\, Marsh Wren\, and in some years Prothonotary Warbler. We will also spend some time at the East Observation Deck\, which overlooks the adjacent Great Swamp marshes. Trails are level but may be wet depending on recent rain. \nPlease bring your own binoculars or spotting scope if desired. There will be no equipment available to borrow. \nRegistration required. Walk-ins will not be permitted to participate. \nCost: $20 members\, $25 nonmembers. Ticket sales end on 5/16 at 4:00 PM. \nInterested in becoming a member? Children under the age of 9 cannot walk by themselves. Your walk will last around 15 minutes. Feel free to take lots of pictures with your alpaca and if you need assistance doing so\, please as one of our Volunteers for help. This is a rain/snow or shine unless torrential rain then we will postpone. PLEASE BE ONTIME! IF YOU ARE MORE THAN 5 MINUTES LATE FOR YOUR SCHEDULED WALK\, YOUR WALK WILL BE CANCELLED!!!!!
