NJ Audubon: Morning Walk at Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary Enjoy a quiet morning at the Sanctuary walking the trails with an NJ Audubon staff or Associate Naturalist. Enjoy a quiet morning here at the Sanctuary walking the trails with an NJ Audubon staff or Associate Naturalist. These walks are informal and informative: birds, trees, tracks, wildflowers, reptiles, and amphibians are a few of nature’s wonders waiting for us to discover. The walks are cancelled if there is snow, rain, or weather warnings. Registration required by 4:00 PM the day before the walk. Pre-registration Required. COST: Free for members, $5 nonmembers. There will be an indoor presentation followed by an outdoor walk on the premises to apply these skills to the trees on the property. Event will be held rain or shine. U-Pick Flowers at Snyder’s Farm
U-Pick Flowers at Snyder's Farm Farmer Ray has outdone himself this season with our flower garden! He has transformed the U-Pick field into a one-of-a-kind picking experience. Walk through a meandering path of some of the most beautiful flowers of the season, clipping as you go to make bouquets for your home or to give as gifts. The photos in this field are going to be absolutely gorgeous, so get your cameras ready. Hours & Details Hours:Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 4pm to 8pm, last car in at 7pmWeekends 9am to 4pm, last car in at 3pm Admission is $3 per person (pay upon arrival, no reservations required) Fill the buckets we supply for $10 each (our buckets will hold about 1 large bouquet) Bring your own 5-gal bucket and fill it for $20 Sunflowers (late July) and dahlias are an extra $2 ea. Walk an Alpaca - Saturday Mornings PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!! NON REFUNDABLE!!!!! NON CHANGEABLE!!!! Alpaca Halter Training (Walking): Walk one of our beautiful, friendly Alpacas around our property. Enjoy their wonderful personalities and cuteness overload. You will be instructed on how to handle your alpaca and we will give you a little bit of information on our Alpacas. 1 reservation is 1 Alpaca and 1 Person. Children under the age of 9 cannot walk by themselves. Your walk will last around 15 minutes. Feel free to take lots of pictures with your alpaca and if you need assistance doing so, please as one of our Volunteers for help. This is a rain/snow or shine unless torrential rain then we will postpone. PLEASE BE ONTIME! IF YOU ARE MORE THAN 5 MINUTES LATE FOR YOUR SCHEDULED WALK, YOUR WALK WILL BE CANCELLED!!!!! Our helpers are all volunteers, so tipping is appreciated.

Wheel Throwing Pottery Class
Wheel Throwing Pottery Class Visit the studio for a two-hour wheel throwing pottery class at 6pm. The instructor will give a comprehensive demonstration. Then each person works at their own wheel to create with lots of help from the instructors. Each potter will choose the glaze color for at least 2 pieces to complete the process of firing and glazing. Items will be available for pick up about 3 weeks later. Appropriate for 10 years and above. $98 per person for 2 hours includes 2 finished pieces. Each additional finished piece is $10.
