Painting in Depth Course *Kids ages 5-8, 11 week course starting Wednesday's September 20 - November 29, 04:00 pm - 05:30 pm This program is designed for young artists who love painting and who want to deepen and develop their skills. The class explores painting in acrylics, watercolors, and tempera with attention to the use of color, light, shadow, composition, and brush handling. Students will work from still life arrangements or favorite photographs. The teacher will provide frequent demonstrations. Students will also draw inspiration from the art on view in the galleries. Children are encouraged to repeat this class to continue building painting skills. NOTE: There is no class on 10/4, 11/22. Special Notes All students must comply with the Policies and Procedures found on The Center's website. There will be no refunds for students removed from class for failure to observe The Center’s Policies and Procedures. Materials All materials are included.

The class explores painting with attention to the use of color, light, shadow, composition, and brush handling. The teacher will provide frequent demonstrations.
