U-Pick Strawberry Weekends Picking depends on weather and crop availability, so please check our phone message for any updates before you visit. We currently do not take credit cards, an ATM will be on premises. Field fee is $5.00 per person plus cost of berries. Field fee for children under 2, free. No outside food or drink, No smoking on the premises, No pets allowed. A wagon ride is required to get back to the strawberry field -Please check in at the little farm shed to the right of the parking area for wagon instructions. Pre picked strawberries will be available at our outdoor market. Activity area and Jumbo Jumper will be open for the kiddos, you can purchase tickets at the little farm shed where you received your wagon ride tickets. Hours are Weekends 9AM to 4PM last car in at 3:00 For your safety Please always watch your footing on the property, there are rocks, sticks, holes, and uneven ground. 250 years ago in the spring of 1773 Phillis Wheatley traveled from America to England to publish Poems on Various Subjects, Religious and Moral, making her the first published African-American poet and the first African-American female published writer. This historic houses tour of Wallace House & Old Dutch Parsonage introduces the works of three early Black American women in words, considering Phillis Wheatley’s poetic perspective on the American Revolution, Hetty Saunders’ solace and stewardship of nature in New Jersey in the early American republic, and Sojourner Truth’s African Dutch social and spiritual heritage as background to her activism through the nation’s Civil War.
