Fall Harvest Days
Norz Hill Farm has been in our family since 1922 when Hillsborough was very rural and all of our neighbors were farmers. Today most all of you, our neighbors from near and far, are generations removed from farm families so it is very important to us to be able to provide an educational, breathtaking and fun experience while visiting our Farm. Farm Tours The tour takes you on a hay wagon ride from our farm stand area to the farm, then you can get off and see all the animals. Some of the animals you will find are cows, miniature donkeys (yep, we have a Dominick the donkey!), horses, alpaca, sheep, chickens, goats, pigs, bunnies, emu's and even a zonkey. Then when you have had a chance to see all the animals, you can catch the next hayride right to our pumpkin patch. The Corn Maze Each and every year we dedicate our corn maze to either events that happen on our farm or a great local cause. SO while you are here you can be challenged to find your way through our 5 acres of farm fun! Kids' Corner & Fun Things Our Kids Croner is a fun area
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
Friday & Saturday - 8PM Sunday - 2PM Adults $22 - Seniors/Students $20 An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box.

Forest Bathing
Forest Bathing
Forest Bathing is a practice that combines a slow walk in a natural area with a clearly defined sequence of guided events that provide structure to the experience. An opening guided meditation helps participants to enter into an embodied state in which they engage with nature through the senses rather than the intellect. Once there, the guide offers a series of ‘invitations’ which allow participants to explore nature without the normal chatter in the head; to directly experience through the senses. Forest Bathing takes a holistic view to the physiological, mental, emotional, and psycho-spiritual benefits to be derived from an embodied contact with nature. This practice can be viewed as an effective strategy to maintain and boost immune strength in human beings. The walk takes approximately 2.5 hours and requires no exceptional skill or physical exertion. Studies have demonstrated a wide array of health benefits, especially in the cardiovascular and immune systems, and for stabilizing and improving mood and cognition from a slow walk in the forest or other natural environments. We look to build on those benefits by reminding people that we are a part of nature, not separate from it, and are related to all other beings in
