The Center for Contemporary Art’s 2022 International Juried Exhibition will be on view from January 14 – February 26, 2022. Juror Erin Jenoa Gilbert has selected 48 contemporary works representing a broad range of mediums. EXHIBITING ARTISTS: Joan Appel, Claude Beller, Bill Brookover, Monica J. Brown, Lionel Carre, Arden Cone, Steven Daiber, Debra Disman, Tracy DiTolla, Marvin Eans, Steven Epstein, Tracy Finn, Sandy Furst, Anita Gladstone, Gregory Hennen, Valerie Huhn, Pat Kelly, Karen L. Kirshner, Jack Knight, Shawn Marshall, Monica Mendes, Edward Mills, Myra Joyce Nowlin, David Orban, Clare Parry, Sandi Pfeifer, Robert Reid, Alireza Vaziri Rahimi, Mark Vogel, Chrissy Wallace ABOUT THE JUROR: Erin Jenoa Gilbert is a New York based curator and art advisor, specializing in Modern and Contemporary Art of the African Diaspora. Most recently the Curator of African American Manuscripts at the Smithsonian Archives of American Art, she has also held positions at The Art Institute of Chicago and The Studio Museum in Harlem.

Frontline Arts Veteran Residency Application

Frontline Arts is very pleased to announce the gift of a Veterans’ Opportunities in Art and Art Education Fund to help support Veteran Residencies and our Frontline Paper Program. Ella Rue and Bob Eyet generously gifted the “52 Reasons to Love a Vet” fund, via Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation, Inc, (along with the full collection of original artwork by world-renowned artists and illustrators and supporting merchandise) in 2021. This much-needed funding will allow us to bring further support to our Frontline Paper Program plus other educational opportunities for veterans looking for a full immersion in techniques based in papermaking, printmaking and other social arts practices, virtually and in our studios. The funding for Veterans Opportunities in the Arts and Arts Education at Frontline Arts can be used for residencies, workshop scholarships, editions, studio time and more. Please fill out the full application due by 2/15/2022 with awardee(s) announced around the first week of March 2022. The residency can be completed any time from May 1, 2022 through Dec 31, 2022 and can be in-person, hybrid or virtual/remote.
