The Center for Contemporary Art Online Art Classes & Workshops for Adults

The Center for Contemporary Art in Bedminster offers online adult summer classes and workshops begining June 10th via Zoom. Students can select from either one or two-day workshops or spend the time exploring a medium in-depth. Classes are offered for all levels of experience in a variety of mediums, including watercolor, oil and acrylic painting, colored pencils, pen & ink, drawing, ceramics and graffiti. Class offerings include “Watercolor Step-by-Step,” “Introduction to Acrylic Painting,” “Drawing Perspective,” “Portrait Drawing,” “Still Life & Landscape,” “Graffiti 1-2-3!” “Oil Landscape,” "Introduction to Performance Art," "Introduction to Creative Writing: Poetry," “Drawing & Painting with Colored Pencils” and more. The Center for Contemporary Art Virtual Summer Art Camps

The Center for Contemporary Art in Bedminster is pleased to offer weekly Virtual Summer Art Camps for children and teens ages 5 – 15. Weekly half-day camps, mornings and afternoons, will take place online via Zoom from June 22 – August 28. Art Camps are designed to stimulate creative expression through projects and activities that change each week. Children develop important artistic techniques and learn about the principles of visual art, historical periods and well-known artists. Most of all they have fun while expressing their creativity! Art Camps are led by professional, experienced, and creative teaching artists; have curriculum tailored to three individual age groups; offfer small class sizes; projects and themes vary weekly; and all art supplies are provided.

CAMP BROOK Camp Brook offers a program dedicated to providing an environment where young students will have fun, build self-confidence and stretch their imaginations. Camper will be introduced to all facets of theatre production from acting techniques and performance, to scenic design, lighting, and sound design, property management, costume design, and scriptwriting. Students will learn all the elements to create a production from start to finish. Week one will focus on exploring our imagination through theater games, pantomime, role-playing, and improvisation. Students will discover their talents through the use of skits and short plays. All sessions focus on stage movement, direction, voice, and acting technique. Week 2 & 3 will concentrate on staging Camp Brook’s showcase production. Our program is open to all students entering 2nd -- 8th grade in the fall of 2020.
