Stars & Promises 2019 – Echoes of the Season – A 20th Anniversary Celebration.

Guitarist and singer Peter Mayer of the Peter Mayer Group and Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band will perform his 19th annual Stars and Promises Christmas tour. The seasonal performance features imaginative arrangements of traditional and original carols, composed and led by Mayer and his ensemble of versatile musicians in cities across the country. This holiday musical event has raised thousands of dollars for various non-profit agencies in Somerset County. The 2019 beneficiaries will be the Somerville Educational Foundation (SEF), providing funds for creative and innovative programs in the areas of art, theater and music for students of the Somerville Public Schools and the Ray Bateman Scholarship for Somerville students planning on attending Raritan Valley Community College and majoring in the arts. Located at the United Reform Church in Somerville. Doors Open at 630pm Show begins at 730pm $35 dollars a ticket online $5 dollars at the door It is a Holiday Show like no other!

Tony Award®-winning director Bartlett Sher and the team behind South Pacific, The King and I, and 2017 Tony®-winning Best Play Oslo, bring a fresh and authentic vision to this beloved theatrical masterpiece from Tony®-winner Joseph Stein and Pulitzer Prize winners Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick. Featuring stunning movement and dance from Israeli choreographer Hofesh Shechter, based on the original staging by Jerome Robbins. State Theatre New Jersey is proud to present four showings of Fiddler on the Roof; December 20 at 8pm, December 21 at 2pm & 8pm, and December 22 at 2pm. Tickets range from $40 to $98.
