NJ Audubon: Nature Infused Yoga Fall/Winter Series Led by Kristin Mylecraine. Yoga Teacher & NJA Senior Research Scientist Yoga is a great way to relax, connect with yourself, and increase flexibility and strength. Explore the connections between yoga and nature in this 75-minute class. No experience necessary; all levels welcome. For ages 15 years and older. Please arrive 10 minutes early and bring a yoga mat if you have one (some will be provided.) Walk-ins are welcome. This class will be held weekly from 11/2/19 to 1/4/20. (There will be no class 11/30/2019 and 12/28/2019.) When Saturdays, from November 2, 2019 through January 4, 2020 (9:30am to 10:45am). NJ Audubon: Digital Photography Workshop 3 – Boot Camp Workshop led by Phil Witt, David DesRochers and Jack Moskowitz, NJ Audubon Associate Naturalists Workshop 3 will be a photo boot camp where participants will apply what they learned in Workshops 1 and 2. This will be a hands-on session with cameras, and participants will practice changing camera settings, and compensation for varying light conditions. We will practice composition using flower set-ups, considering the effect of light quality and direction, distance to subject, focal length, and f/stop. Time permitting, we will project and critique participants’ session images. When Saturday, November 16, 2019 (1:00pm to 3:30pm). Hamilton Street Gallery invites you to an upcoming exhibition entitled “A Killing Frost” featuring 18 artists working in a variety of media. All provide imaginative impressions on the subject of frosts, and gardens, in nature as related to beginnings and endings or explored metaphorically such as in a spiritual, social/political or personal context. The exhibit will run from November 16th, 2019 to January 2nd. 2020 with the opening reception on Saturday November 16th from 2 to 5 pm. The gallery is located at 6 Hamilton Street in Bound Brook, NJ right next to the Brook Theater. Gallery hours are: Thursdays,12 to 5 pm, Fridays 5:30 to 8pm, Saturdays 1 to 5 pm and by appointment. Rahman, that he discovers his path to success.
