A Monotype Intensive with Ron Pokrasso

This workshop covers a wide range of techniques possible in the monotype process and continues through the use of collage, drawing, and multiple plate projects. Using Akua non-toxic products participants will learn to modify and mix inks, layer imagery and explore the limits of paper. Various registration techniques will be addressed as mixed media techniques open the door to limitless opportunities. Working with drawing materials and finishing prints as resolved and complete expressions are additional aspects of the workshop. The approach is energetic and open, as each student's individual style will help to dictate the direction of the workshop. For each participant, Ron is gifting one of his own prints for each person as a thank you for attending the workshop.
