In this series of 288 paintings, Mon (Long Valley, NJ) encompasses the entry of new places that are both real and fantasy. They comment and reflect on humanity as individuals and as a whole in current issues involving politics or humanitarianism. Mon also invited other artists to participate by designing Flags for the New Land, which resulted in multitudes of ideas and imagery, and 73 flags, which will also be on view. Laser Beams and Printing Things with Mike Stark

In this one day workshop at Frontline Arts, students will get an introduction to a modern woodblock printmaking tool, the laser cutter. Students will have their blocks created prior to the class by the instructor, and will spend the day printing and reworking their image on traditional etching presses. Basic Adobe Illustrator or similar program skills and access necessary prior to taking this class!

The Sky Above All ages are welcome to this one hour sensory- friendly program. The show will provide a comfortable and judgment-free space that is welcoming to all families. The doors will remain open so that children will be able to come and go. Lights will be left dim and audio will be lowered and at a consistent level. The sky show will include: music, videos, planets, the Moon, constellations and laser lights. It is a collection of music, music videos, laser images choreographed to songs and one short story. Each song is of course 3-4 minutes. One about a rocket ride, another about the planets, constellations, etc. It is not a typical planetarium show at all. There is no lecture, just lots of music and visuals to go with the songs. If your students can watch a kid’s TV show or a movie, then this show may not be for them. It is designed for students with very short attention spans. Reservations recommended.
