In this series of 288 paintings, Mon (Long Valley, NJ) encompasses the entry of new places that are both real and fantasy. They comment and reflect on humanity as individuals and as a whole in current issues involving politics or humanitarianism. Mon also invited other artists to participate by designing Flags for the New Land, which resulted in multitudes of ideas and imagery, and 73 flags, which will also be on view. Charity Volleyball Game

On Friday, October 4th at 6:30pm Branchburg Sports Complex will be hosting a charity volleyball game in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Participating teams will include members of the Branchburg Police Department, North Branch Fire Department, teachers from Branchburg School District and staff from BSC. The teams will be cheered on by members of the Branchburg Central Middle School Peer Leadership Group who will also be hosting a bake sale with proceeds being donated toward breast cancer research. The evening will include special pricing for the BSC PlayMaze at $5 per person and a Laser Tag Special of $6 per person/per game with proceeds going to the American Cancer Society and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. We hope you can join us for what is sure to be a fun evening for the whole family!

Balderston from Bram Stoker’s world famous novel “Dracula.” October 4, 5 and 11, 12 at 7:30 pm October 6 and 13 at 4:00 pm The Farmstead Arts Center is a center for fine, practical, and performing arts in Basking Ridge, NJ. The Center operates under the Friends of the Kennedy Martin Stelle Farmstead, a 501c3 organization.
