Larry Kerner’s Photographs on Display at Bernardsville Library in June

June 2 @ 10:00 am - June 28 @ 5:00 pm
NJ United States + Google Map
Free

Bernardsville Public Library is pleased to present "Stay, This Moment - Photographs by Larry Kerner.” The show will be on view from June 2 to June 28, 2019 at 1 Anderson Hill Road, Bernardsville. Hiking and camping while young introduced Mr. Kerner to the grandeur of nature and gave him respect for the preservation of wilderness. The West Coast piqued his interest, and he began capturing images on film in color and in black and white. Since then, his camera has been “his eyes.” His interpretations range from cloud-capped canyons to tumbling mountain streams and waterfalls. The images in this show have been captured on film and digital media. Mr. Kerner is a member of the Chatham Township Art League and the Vailsburg Camera Club of Springfield. He lives in Chatham Township, NJ. The show will be open for viewing during regular library hours, unless a meeting is in progress. For more information on the show, call the library at 908-766-0118.

Blast off the summer at the Bernardsville Public Library! The fair will feature even more games, prizes and snacks than last year. Adding to the fun will be a roving stilt walker and unicycle rider who juggles. There will be only a nominal fee to play the games and purchase snacks. Children and teens can begin registering for Bernardsville Library's Summer Reading program on the same day as the fair, Monday, June 24th. Registration continues throughout the summer, but the sooner you register, the more reading you can log. Summer Reading Club participants will earn prizes for reading or listening to materials of their choice, from books to magazines, comics and more. School assignments count too! All children who log at least two hours by July 22 will be invited to the mobile planetarium at the Library on July 29. Preventing summer slide is another reason to join the summer reading program.
