February 15, 2025 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

$125

Saturday, February 15th, 11 AM – 4 PM

In this workshop, we invite you to bring one 9×12″ sketch to create one shaped intaglio plate using Tetra Pak containers (such as those used for boxed milk, soy milk, almond milk, etc.). We will provide instructions on how to make each plate at home and demonstrate the necessary skills for the process. You will receive the Tetra Pak plates and Hahnemühle etching paper. We will supply all the essential tools and Akua ink, allowing you to develop one image and produce a small edition of prints. Our goal is to give you a solid understanding of the process, enabling you to incorporate it into your artistic practice. This method is in line with the Non-Toxic Initiative at Frontline Arts. This is a great workshop for the at-home printer with limited space and resources! All experience levels welcome!

Students provide:

Sketchbook with 1 black and white 9×12″ image ideas
