No space for an in-ground garden? Have clay or rocky soil in your years? Don’t like tilling and weeding, or you have limited mobility or trouble bending? Perhaps container gardening is for you! On Friday, May 10 from 10-11 am, Linda Lewis, a Rutgers Master Gardener of Somerset County, will present “Container Gardening,” a guide to home grown vegetables or colorful flowers without expensive tools and back breaking labor. Make gardening fun again with the use of containers. The cost is $10 per person (no refunds). Visit http://somerset.njaes.rutgers.edu/garden/pdfs/ifyouplantit2_2019.pdf to download the registration form. Register by May 6, 2019. After this class, participants should have the confidence to put their newfound knowledge to work. Any questions, call 908-526-6293, option 4.
