October 9 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join NJ Audubon Naturalist on the Scherman Hoffman observation deck for a bird’s eye view of the fall migration. We’ll be looking for migrating raptors and any passerines passing through. Marvel at the spectacular views of Broad-winged Hawk kettles as they fly over the sanctuary, Bald Eagles, and other raptors. Hawkwatches are scheduled for Thursdays, September 11, 18, and 25, and October 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Loaner binoculars will be available.
NOTE: a hawk watch day will be cancelled if there is rain, snow, or weather warnings.
COST: FREE
